Take A Breath

Take a deep breath

We were approached by a pharmaceutical group to create a series of 'breathing techniques' videos for social media, inviting everyone to take a moment to breathe. These would use a visually beautiful, calming and satisfying animation to illustrate taking a breath from the chaotic stressors of life. The videos invite the audience to take a moment to take a breath by inhaling for four counts and then exhaling for another four counts as the animation goes.

 

 

Animating the droplet

To evoke a sense of calm and purity, we intentionally embraced circular shapes throughout the design, creating a smooth, harmonious flow. This choice not only reinforced the peaceful atmosphere but also tied directly to the client’s logo, which features a simple, elegant circle. The scene was carefully crafted as a seamless experience, where the camera follows an animated droplet as it gracefully falls from leaf to leaf, building tension before it finally drops into the water, creating a moment of serene impact. The fluid motion and natural progression add a visual rhythm, making the scene feel immersive and deeply connected to the brand’s essence.

Building the rainforest

To bring the jungle to life, I crafted multiple layers of lush vegetation, each adding depth and richness to the environment. As the camera moves through the scene, it weaves through these layers, with the foliage parting to reveal a winding path, guiding the viewer deeper into the wild. Circular shapes are cleverly integrated into the design, appearing in the leaves, animals, and even the path opening, creating a sense of unity and harmony with nature. The camera glides through the vibrant landscape, guiding the viewer into the tranquil heart of the jungle. Each subtle shift and turn feels like a peaceful exploration, inviting a sense of calm and connection with nature’s serene rhythm.
