Sci-Fi movie sequence

This is a four-second shot I created as part of a personal project, featuring spaceships gliding through an asteroid field. The goal was to evoke a cinematic sci-fi atmosphere, focusing on the trajectory of the ships as they navigate through the field of floating rocks. I paid close attention to lighting and camera angles to enhance the sense of depth and the vastness of space, aiming to create a moment that feels both immersive and visually striking.

The making off

For this project, I began by modeling the spaceship, drawing inspiration from iconic pop culture references of the 60s and 70s, which helped give it a retro yet futuristic aesthetic. I wanted the design to capture the spirit of the old Star Wars movies and pop culture of that era.

Once the spaceship was complete, I moved on to crafting the entire scene, carefully designing the environment and planning the animation to bring everything to life. The camera motion was intentionally chosen to enhance the drama and scale of the space setting, creating a sense of immersion and flow that complements the overall atmosphere of the piece.
